About Fractyl

Built because the CDP we needed was the wrong size.

Fractyl began with a real client problem: first-party data could materially improve the media outcome, but the available CDPs brought enterprise cost, implementation and operating burden.

The right answer was a CDP. The available answers were wrong-sized.

While working alongside one of our clients, we could see that a customer data platform would significantly improve how audiences were built, suppressed and activated.

When we assessed the market, many of the established options appeared designed for large US enterprises: expensive to license, difficult to onboard and dependent on specialist people inside the client organisation to keep them useful.

One member of the D3 team decided to build the capability from scratch on Google Cloud. Within six months, there was a workable framework connecting customer data to media activation. That framework became Fractyl.

Fractyl now operates as an agency-neutral managed capability. Clients can keep their incumbent agency or in-house media team; the Fractyl team builds and operates the customer-data layer around them.
