1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on a device when a website is used. Similar technologies, including tags and local storage, can also remember choices, protect a service and help measure how a site is used. We use “cookies” in this notice as a practical term for these technologies.
2. What we use
| Category | Purpose | Current providers and examples | Choice |
|---|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Deliver and protect the website, remember privacy choices and support core functionality. | CookieYes consent records and website or edge-security cookies. Names may include cookieyes-consent, __cf_bm or cf_clearance when the relevant protection is required. | These cannot be switched off through the consent panel because the site relies on them. |
| Analytics | Understand page views, interactions, referral information, browser and device patterns so we can improve the site. | Google Analytics 4, deployed through Google Tag Manager. Google Analytics cookies may include _ga and a property-specific _ga_* cookie. | Optional. These tools load only after analytics consent is recorded. |
Cookie names, settings and duration can change when providers update their services. The live consent panel is the current control for optional categories.
3. Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager is used to deploy approved website tags. It does not decide the purpose of collection. On this site, the Tag Manager container loads only after analytics consent and is currently used for Google Analytics 4 and approved interaction events.
4. Your choices
The CookieYes banner lets you accept or reject optional analytics. You can revisit the choice at any time by selecting “Privacy choices” in the footer. Withdrawing analytics consent stops optional analytics from loading on the next page load.
You can also use your browser controls to block or delete cookies. Blocking necessary cookies may affect website functionality.
5. Analytics data
We do not intentionally send names, email addresses or client customer records to website analytics. Analytics information may include page location, interactions, referral source, browser, device and approximate location derived from network information.
6. More information
See the Privacy policy for how we handle personal information. Questions can be sent to alex.radford@d3.co.nz.
